As Spanish teachers, sometimes we tend to forget to include Afro-Latino culture all year round. Instead of teaching a unit about Afro-Latinos in February, this session will help you discover how to tweak your days, weeks, and months into a curriculum that incorporates Afro-Latinos as if they were not just a highlight, but they are part of the whole Latin American culture. Let’s make a decision to include this as an important part of teaching the Spanish language, the same way we integrate other topics and subjects.
